Grace selected a cute red halter that tied in the back. It was long enough to go to her hips, and she paired it with dark skinny-jeans and red pumps. It was sexy on a good day, but the clothes didn’t matter. It was the way he looked at her.

It made her melt, and made her want to get naked and forget their plans.

The heels made her taller than her lover, and she would’ve worried about it—she towered over Blaze by a good four inches, but he seemed to love he was standing next to someone so tall.

She could just stare at him all night if he continued to look back the way he did.

It wasn’t just sexual desire in his face, but something else, something more. Something that made heart hurt but her body tingle.

What am I going to do?

He’d changed as well, going with something a little more casual than the button up he’d had on earlier. He’d kept the same black faded jeans with a sparkly encrusted skull belt buckle.

Blaze had donned a black T-shirt with an image of vintage Popeye on it. Over it, he’d tossed on a red, black, and white plaid flannel with rolled up sleeves. His baseball cap was an ode to the Yankees.

She waited for him to add sunglasses like one always saw movie actors doing when they were trying to hide.

He never did.
